My Favourite Indigenous Brands

Truth and Reconciliation Day is a poignant and significant observance in Canada. It stands as a reminder of the importance of acknowledging the painful legacy of residential schools and the systemic injustices endured by Indigenous peoples to this day. This day urges us to confront uncomfortable truths, foster empathy and understanding as we seek to heal historical wounds. It’s a vital step toward a more inclusive, equitable, and reconciled future for all Canadians. I want to use this platform to show off some of my favourite Indigenous owned brands that have incredible products and even more powerful messages.

Sipping on a delicious brew while also supporting a local and indigenous brand…what could be better? Let me put you on to some delicious joe from Birch Bark Coffee Company! Despite how much I love coffee, I love BBCC philanthropic efforts even more. When you buy a bag of BBCC coffee, a part of the profit is dedicated to buying a water purification unit for Indigenous households.
