The Best Sustainable Brands

I’m not a fan of throwaway culture, yet I find myself being sucked in by the convenience and affordability of it. The biggest roadblock to people buying sustainable clothing and items is the price. I’ve made it my mission this month to share my favourite sustainable brands that won’t break the bank.    

 1. TenTree   

I’ve been a TenTree fan for a long time now. There are so many reasons why I think so highly of this brand. But overall, their commitment to environmentalism is commendable. One of the main ways that TenTree reduces its environmental impact is by using sustainable materials in its clothing. They use fabrics such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, and TENCEL™ lyocell, all eco-friendly alternatives to traditional materials. In addition, they use low-impact dyes that are less harmful to the environment than conventional dyes. 2. Stanley   

You may have seen Stanley mugs blowing up on TikTok, and I mean b l o w i n g up. Stanley produces sustainable cups, bottles, and other outdoor gear. Their products are designed to be durable and long-lasting, reducing the need for single-use items and ultimately reducing waste. They prioritize recycled and upcycled materials. They’re committed to making at least 50% of their stainless-steel products from recycled materials by 2025. The best part – they recently joined SPC. So why are you still here? 3. Blueland  

Blueland is an eco-friendly cleaning products company that offers refillable cleaning supplies. The company’s products come in tablet form, and customers can add water to the tablet to create a cleaning solution. Their mission is to eliminate single-use plastic waste from cleaning products by creating a more sustainable and eco-friendly option for consumers. As a result, customers can significantly reduce their plastic waste. Blueland’s cleaning tablets are also packaged in compostable materials, and the company’s bottles are made of durable and reusable materials. 4. Patagonia    

Patagonia has been a staple of outdoor life for a very long time. Besides having iconic styles and outstanding products, they prioritize sustainability by using responsible materials. For example, they use recycled polyester in many products, reducing reliance on virgin materials and diverting waste from landfills. They also use organic cotton, grown without toxic pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, and hemp, which requires fewer resources than conventional cotton. In addition to using sustainable materials, they’re also committed to reducing their carbon footprint. Patagonia has set science-based targets to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and transition to renewable energy sources, and they’ve already made progress towards these goals. 5. Beyond Meat   

One of the most significant benefits of Beyond Meat products is their reduced environmental impact compared to traditional meat products. Animal agriculture is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, water pollution, and deforestation. Beyond Meat is helping to reduce these negative environmental impacts by replacing animal-based products with plant-based alternatives. For example, producing one pound of beef requires 20 times more land and emits 20 times more greenhouse gases than one pound of Beyond Meat’s plant-based burger. Beyond Meat’s products also need significantly less water to produce than traditional meat products.       Thank you so much for your kind words! In all honesty, I’m still fairly new to blogging myself. I think off the bat, it’s important to figure out why you’re writing a blog. Is it for yourself, to promote a business/product, or maybe share experiences? Once you have that established, you can mold your tone and content around your intended audience. As for my main suggestion, post regularly to build your audience.

      Good luck on your blogging journey, it’s a lot of fun!
